The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Training Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible to design training sessions & deliver train-the-trainer sessions on different types of sales training initiatives: new hire, product knowledge, process, soft skills as well as sales competency. The candidate will also need to coordinate and manage different training projects all at once. This role addresses the Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile and Lucky Mobile consumer sales channels which include a community of sales representatives located in Montreal and Toronto.


The Training and Design Coordinator harnesses their creativity through authoring and design tools to create inspirational, memorable, and actionable training programs.  These programs directly impact the business channel’s ability and motivation to succeed. He/She will be responsible for staying current on training best practices, on product portfolio evolution and on relevant applications such as office applications and webinar tools to design highly effective and interactive training sessions in different formats (classroom, webinars, eLearning, job aids, videos, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design a training program that addresses training performance needs
  • Through partnership with respective business partners within product, marketing, sales and other key stakeholders, gather and set requirements, review new project scoping, create and implement detailed needs assessments, gather and interpret the data, capture feedback, uncover performance gaps, recommend training solutions to close those gaps and gain proper approvals
  • Define measurable and achievable performance and training objectives
  • Design & develop training methodologies that drive key behaviours (leader led presentations, webinars, job aids, eLearning, video, etc.)
  • Implement and communicate training programs against tight timelines
  • Work on multiple initiatives at once
  • Schedule and coordinate logistics to support the training
  • Perform train-the-trainer (TTT) sessions with peers
  • Track training performance for all types of training and produce training reports


Education and experience:

  • Training or Education experience
  • Sales or support sales experience – with Bell Mobility Business is an asset
  • At least 5 years at Bell Mobility is an asset 


Tool and software proficiency:

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Online training authring tools (Articulate, Toolbook, Captivate) ***Asset
  • Virtual instructor led platforms (WebEx) ***Asset


Critical Competencies and Qualities: 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a rapid changing pace environment
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) in English and French
  • Ability to design a training from start is an asset

  • Logical, analytical, and critical thinking skills, able to question and explore the details to find clarity, consistency, and retail relevancy
  • Strong and diverse writing skills, able to write simple and memorable copy that inspires readership and transfers knowledge
  • Project management and cross-functional skills, able to get-it-done in a world of tight timelines, required approvals and competing priorities
  • Relationship management skills: able create and leverage business relationships in order to succeed as a team
  • Design and media creation skills, able to produce slides, videos, interactions, and experiences that display/drive key behaviours
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions quickly and act on them accordingly
  • Excellent listening skills, open-mindedness and flexibility
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies


Working Conditions:

  • Job status: Regular – Full Time
  • Flexible to travel occasionally
  • Flexible to facilitate some programs if need be
  • Flexible working hours following the learners’ schedule with ability to work overtime as required
  • Locations: 200 Bouchard Blvd, Dorval QC or 5099 Creekbank, Mississauga, ON


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
