Summary
The successful candidate will create and sell strategic, OOH integrated sales proposals with appropriate research data and marketing; be a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude and a passion for sales who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career. This position will maintain and develop accounts and incremental business for all Astral products. The Account Executive will manage local clients and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Astral in Canada.
- Sell out-of-home advertisement spaces to local clients and agencies.
- Create and sell strategic, integrated sales proposals with appropriate research data and marketing for a large variety of accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by proactively building and managing client relationships.
- Liaise effectively with all sales support services such as research, creativity and charting etc.
- Participate in industry and client events related to the position.
- Support team across country.
Critical Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of media selling experience.
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills combined with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure of deadlines and last minutes revisions.
- A highly developed client service focus and proven ability with the advertising planning community.
- Proven successful track record.
- Must have own vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized post secondary institution.
- Media advertising sales background.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
