Summary
Bell is at the forefront of technological advancements, and we are seeking a motivated and organized AI Program Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of AI tools, working closely with various teams to drive successful adoption and evolution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a technical foundation to grow their program management career within the AI space.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Tool Implementation & Enhancement: Support the implementation of an internal AI tool, as well as drive ongoing improvements and updates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, AI/ML teams, Security teams and users to ensure alignment and facilitate communication throughout the implementation and improvement cycles.
- Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential risks and dependencies within program timelines for implementation and enhancements, and provide support in developing mitigation strategies.
- Security Risk Identification & Mitigation: Proactively identify potential security risks associated with the AI tool's implementation and ongoing development. Ensure that mitigation strategies are developed and effectively delivered upon in collaboration with security and engineering teams.
- Communication & Reporting: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among team members and stakeholders regarding the AI tool's implementation and ongoing development. Assist in preparing status updates and reports on program progress.
- Documentation & Organization: Maintain program documentation related to the AI tool's implementation and improvements, track action items, and ensure organized project information.
- Technical Understanding: Engage in technical discussions with development teams, demonstrating an ability to follow along and understand technical concepts related to AI tools to effectively manage their implementation and improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements for the AI tool and its development lifecycle to ensure continuous enhancement.
Critical Qualifications
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Problem-Solving & Risk Evaluation: Ability to identify potential issues, evaluate risks, and contribute to solutions.
- Technical Aptitude: A solid technical foundation or demonstrable interest and ability to understand technical concepts, particularly in the context of software development and AI.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a program coordination, project support, or technical role, with a focus on software implementation or product development. Experience with AI or machine learning concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an asset.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
