The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  
 

 

The Bell Wireless Finance team is responsible for financial planning and reporting activities which support both the Wireless executive team and the Finance executive team.  The Consolidation team is composed of three pillars: Reporting, forecasting and special projects (Working Capital Finance and Data Analytics)

 

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the management of Working Capital Finance and lead various data analytics projects. With the vast amount of data available, this role will work closely with the Senior Manager to analyze data, create predictive models, turn data into valuable insights and drive decision making.

 

The individual will also partner closely with the Consolidation Planning & Reporting team to ensure the end-to-end process of planning and reporting is seamless.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities

  • Work on various special projects that create value from data
  • Assist with working capital reporting and planning deliverables and analysis
  • Continuously improve planning processes and procedures
  • Manage relationships with other internal finance teams, corporate, subsidiaries
  • Tracking of financial and metrics performance, scorecards
  • Investigate ad-hoc projects or financial issues requiring analysis and resolution
  • Prepare presentation decks with financial analysis and summary
  • Manage multiple deadlines and meet all corporate requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness

 

Qualifications

  • Curious and analytical mindset with a passion to learn and be continuously challenged
  • Accounting designation or working towards one(CA, CMA, CGA, CPA)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize, and accomplish various deliverables simultaneously
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional groups and various management levels
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution
  • Relentless attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R and SAS would be an asset

 

 

 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
