On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of business cases to support inventory and solution requirements
- Initiate and manage purchase order (PO) requests for additional equipment
- Collaborate with DSA teams and Engineering to develop accurate inventory projections
- Partner with Progistix to oversee the receipt, tracking, and lifecycle management of equipment, including new, reusable, refurbished, and decommissioned assets
- Utilize provided job aids to ensure consistency and efficiency across processes
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Identify operational issues and gaps within inventory and supply chain processes
- Recommend and implement solutions to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and optimize costs
Additional responsibilities
I. Planning & Forecasting:
- Functions: Demand forecasting, inventory planning, budgeting for inventory.
- Activities: Analyzing sales forecasts to predict future demand; developing inventory control strategies; creating and managing the inventory budget; collaborating with procurement and sales teams.
- Actions: Running forecasting models; setting reorder points and safety stock levels; preparing inventory reports; participating in budget meetings; negotiating with suppliers on pricing and lead times. Set the reorder points via a Min/Max level report
- Partner with Procurement and Sales for the above
II. Procurement & Ordering:
- Functions: Managing supplier relationships, obtaining quotes, securing purchase orders from Finance
- Activities: Managing purchase orders; tracking shipments; ensuring timely delivery.
- Actions: Obtaining quotes, creating business cases, securing purchase orders from Finance, resolving delivery discrepancies; maintaining inventory databases
III. Inventory Control & Management:
- Functions: Tracking inventory levels
- Activities: Monitoring inventory levels (inventory management software); requesting regular stock counts (cycle counts and physical inventories)
- Actions: Entering inventory data; reconciling inventory records; investigating inventory discrepancies
IV. Stock Optimization & Reduction:
- Functions: Implementing strategies to reduce excess inventory.
- Activities: Forecasting future demand to avoid overstocking.
- Actions: Conducting inventory reviews
- Partner with Sales to determine/identify any inventory that is no longer required due to evergreen activities and obtain instructions from Sales about what is to be done with old gear (set aside for reuse, destroy, etc.)
V. Reporting & Analysis: Field would provide the Min / Max reports and storage costs. Determining stakeholders.
- Functions: Generating inventory reports, analyzing inventory data, providing insights to management.
- Activities: Preparing regular inventory reports (e.g., inventory turnover, stock levels, carrying costs); providing recommendations to improve inventory management; presenting reports to management.
- Actions: Creating dashboards and reports; analyzing inventory data using spreadsheets and software; identifying areas for improvement; presenting findings to stakeholders; provide the Min / Max reports and storage costs
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
