Role Overview:

Bell Business Markets (BBM) Sales leaders drive independent and innovative solutions, with a sense of urgency and the ability to make independent decisions.  Responsibilities are specific in scope, encompassing a focused set of activity around Bell’s Internetworking services and offerings. This requires strong sales acumen with significant focus in priorities, driving sales within Bell Enterprise Market base.



  • Responsible for the attainment of Fiscal Revenue objectives:
  • Prospects and qualifies both new and recurring business opportunities
  • Ownership of deal management
  • Develops strategies and tactics which leverage competitive advantage and profitability:
  • Prepares and conducts formal group presentations at senior management levels
  • Develops and presents proposals including cost justification, business case and technical portion of response for integrated solutions which represent high value for the Customer and profit for the company
  • Leads the creation of Customer offer process (internal business case) and manages approval steps
  • Leading and negotiating revenue opportunities for all service elements (such as SLA’s, DRP, Maintenance, etc.) working with Service Management
  • Responsible for engaging and supporting Client Executives for new business development opportunities 
  • Provides expert consultation on Internetworking concepts, products and services
  • Spends the appropriate amount of time continuously learning by researching and learning new technologies, both internally and externally, to provide single point of contact to the Customer in the sales process
  • Drives sales campaigns across the sales organization

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences or Business
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a solution sales capacity supporting customers in networking and wireless solutions
  • Minimum 2 years business development experience in a consultative, professional & managed services environment
  • Industry Networking Certifications preferred: I.e. Wired and Wireless, Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper, Extreme.
  • Experience in the ICT industry selling wired and wireless solutions to Enterprise Customers
  • Solutions oriented - creating solutions and ability to create value and sell business use cases to our Customers
  • Ability to prospect and identify opportunities while developing strong Customer relationships
  • Drive solutions supporting next generation SD networking solutions and cross-selling Bell services (Connectivity, MS, PS, IS).
  • Experience selling SDWAN solutions including Universal edge devices and software defined networking within a virtual environment (virtual network services, WAN optimization, security, etc)
  • Experience in selling network transformation models with intent-based networking solutions with software defined access technologies inclusive of analytics and security.
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Demonstrated strength in understanding and influencing team dynamics vision and full grasp of business issues
  • Ability to keep up to date on industry trends such as Cloud Networking, Software Defined Networking, Wireless, Network Security, etc.
  • Able to work in a fast paced team environment


Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Business acumen
  • Solution selling experience
  • Superior sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical breadth coupled with depth (typically acquired through a minimum of 3 years of experience) and solution selling in one or more of the following areas:
  • Managed services: Network, Wireless, Security
  • Professional Services: Network road-mapping and assessments, Wireless Mobility optimizations, cloud networking, consulting, integration, outsourcing, etc.
  • Reselling network/wireless/security solutions utilizing key strategic vendor partnerships: Cisco, HPE Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet.
  • Understands the competitive vendor landscape for network, wireless and security UTM technologies.
  • Value added Services: Cross-sell Bell’s product and services portfolio.


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
