The Product Manager will report directly to the Senior Manager, Business Solutions and will work closely with all product, business sales and marketing teams to manage and introduce new mobile solutions to the business segment driving significant growth of wireless data revenues and market share.


Bell’s Mobile Business Solutions team is focused on the development and management of leading mobile business solutions that serve the specific needs of customers from strategic vertical markets.  The team is responsible for securing and maintaining relationships with best-in-class partners to capitalize on these growth opportunities with the support of the Bell sales team.  Key products include Mobile and IoT security, cloud and IoT vertical based solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Product Manager role is an integral component in driving Bell Mobility's overall wireless data growth by resolving customer specific needs and creating exclusive relationships with partners to meet these needs. The Product Manager will also be required to educate and update key internal groups including solution sales consultants, sales executives, business marketing, among others, on solutions and partners that help Bell achieve overall wireless data growth objectives.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and assess market conditions, evolving client requirements and competitive offerings to deliver superior products that accelerate revenue growth and market share.
  • Lifecycle management of leading mobile solutions including development of solution plans, overseeing the introduction of new partners/solutions in Bell Sales channels and monitoring sales performance against defined business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other Bell divisions such as Bell Business Markets to deliver differentiated and unified end-to-end business solutions.
  • Interface with vendors and internal teams to support product needs and resolve related operational issues.


Requirements, Skills and Abilities:

  •  A University degree in business, or technical discipline (such as engineering) with 5 years of previous related experience.
  • The incumbent will bring either Product Management, Product Development, Sales &/or Product Marketing experience in the Telecommunications or Technology industries including superior analytical skills, solid business acumen, strong customer focus and experience in working with external partners. 
  • It is also expected that this individual has a good understanding of wireless data solutions including networks, applications, and mobile devices or other hardware.


In addition, the incumbent must have:

  • Experience in managing teams and resolving issues across multi-discipline functions
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging OS/wireless technologies (i.e. HSPA, LTE, Android, iOS, Blackberry, Cloud Services, WiFi, etc);
  • Be able to communicate effectively and give presentations to various audiences;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Be able to work effectively with virtual and multidisciplinary team;
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting  numerous requests and deadlines;
  • Independent and self-motivation;
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills;
  • Knowledge of IoT platforms, select business solutions and security is an asset;
  • Bilingual: French would be an asset;
  • Ability to apply technology to create business solutions;
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities;
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT.


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
