Summary
The Salesforce Platform & Release Manager leads the operational execution of our Salesforce platform. This role will oversee a team of Salesforce Administrators and DevOps specialists, ensuring the platform is stable, secure, and continuously optimized to support business priorities. The Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations, release management, environment governance, and the successful delivery of enhancements and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team of Salesforce Administrators and DevOps professionals.
- Manage daily platform operations including system performance, user support, maintenance, and incident resolution.
- Oversee release management processes, including planning, scheduling, QA, deployment, and post release validation across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Monitor platform health and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with architecture and business teams to coordinate delivery, roadmap planning, and platform scalability.
- Stay current on Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and ecosystem tools to guide platform evolution.
Critical Qualifications
- 5+ years of Salesforce platform management experience, with at least 2 years leading technical teams.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, customization, and DevOps tooling (e.g., Salesforce DevOps Center, Git, Copado, CI/CD pipelines).
- Proven experience managing complex releases across multiple environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder,etc)
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
