On the Consumer and Small business team you’ll work across a portfolio of brands and solutions. Summary

As a leader within the Business Intelligence team and in the role of Senior Manager Advanced Analytics, the successful candidate will support various types of projects affecting the BI team (new report development, self-serve evolution and ongoing support, data engineering and architecture).

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management of team of BI analysts and developers
  • Delivery of reporting needs through report automation, data development and self serve capabilities.
  • Supports overall project management of core team deliverables and prioritization.
  • Facilitates team meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignments and escalations
  • Facilitates work sessions, focus groups and organizes demo’s when required
  • Preparation & facilitation of internal and executive presentations related to project scope timeline, activities, issues, budget and progress as required
  • Leads and collaborates on elaboration of business cases to support project scope and/or monetary investment
  • Ensures that quality standards are adhered to and that projects are completed on time, on scope and on budget.
  • Manage BI ingestion process & project prioritization

Critical Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and strong leadership skills
  • High level of numeracy and strong pattern recognition skills
  • Effective presentation skills (i.e. peers, team members, executives, and clients)
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and risk management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently
  • Must be proficient in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint & Jira
  • Must have at least 5+ years of Business Intelligence leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in ETL development in SAS, Teradata and/or PL/SQL;
  • Experience in data warehousing which include data mapping and transformation, data source analysis and data profiling;
  • SQL programming experience: creating complex queries, tables, views, and procedures;
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications business is an asset;
  • Demonstrable history of cross-team collaboration;
  • Advanced technical and non-technical communications skills;
  • Self motivated. Ability to research situations, identify the key issues, and then gain approval to address the opportunity from upper management.
  • Extremely rigorous with regards to the data and information provided;
  • Ability to work on his/her own, with a minimum of supervision within a dynamic environment;
  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to diagnose business problem, document, resolve, plan and deliver solution in short time;
  • Resiliency and ability to set boundaries with stakeholders;
  • Invested in continual self-development to stay current with evolving technological landscape

Additional Requirements


Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
