Position Description:

  • The Revenue Marketing team is seeking an analytical & strategic thinker to lead the revenue upsell portfolio. This position provides a great opportunity for an individual to work on a portfolio that directly impacts the bottom line for Bell Mobility, Bell Small Business & Virgin Mobile.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Revenue Upsell, the Marketing Specialist, Revenue Upsell, will look after a variety of revenue upsell campaigns and/or cost saving initiatives. Responsible for all Mobility postpaid brands, we are looking for an individual with strong business analytic skills and cross functional execution ability


Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Monitor & report on key revenue impacting metrics for opportunities to reduce cost & increase revenue
  • Develop & execute customer facing marketing campaigns & tactics to increase revenue & reduce cost – including but not limited to: data & voice upsell, switching from paper to E, positive rate plan & feature change
  • Have an in-depth understanding of how pricing decisions impact long term revenue
  • Develop & execute internal policies & programs to reduce cost & increase revenue
  • Work with cross functional teams (Pricing, Marcom, Business Intelligence, Care) to implement campaigns & policy updates
  • Develop ad-hoc reporting on marketing campaigns and revenue metrics
  • Develop post mortems on ongoing campaigns to assess effectiveness, make recommendation to improve & execute changes
  • Find, explore & present new opportunities to upsell & grow revenue
  • Preparation of materials for senior management
  • Various other ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed


Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability in project management and leading large cross functional teams
  • Ability to analyze ambiguous information and develop strong insights
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to summarize and present information effectively
  • Strong financial background and business acumen
  • Good understanding of forecasting analytics
  • Able to challenge the status quo and building better processes
  • Autonomous and disciplined self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage rapidly changing priorities
  • Work and lead cross-functionally with successful end-to-end execution

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University degree with a Business, Marketing, or Mathematics and/or related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in Business Analytics and/or Marketing Campaigns
  • Wireless industry experience an asset
  • Strong with MS Office skills (Excel / PowerPoint), working knowledge of SAS an asset

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
