Summary
Bell’s forward-thinking Commercial Sales Team is creating the ultimate structure to manage and protect our Base of Customers. We lead strategic development and execution of day-to-day operations; develop tools and processes alongside a cross-functional Team.
The commercial sales team is currently looking for a dynamic and innovative individual for a Team lead role who will also influence and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable sales activities and practices. This position is an essential part of the sales team and reports to the Sales Senior Manager. The incumbent will play a key role in ensuring our success
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and manage performance
- Communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately
- Rethink, be creative and improve the performance of the sales team
- Provide ongoing coaching and guidance
- Arrange to participate on sales calls with customers and representatives to support closing sales potential deals
- Analyze data to identify areas of success and/or areas of improvement required
- Develop and execute on strategies to motivate the team to drive sales
- Analyzing the effectiveness of existing sales practices through a sales lifecycle – identifying strengths & opportunities and documenting benefits and risks to business objectives
- Creation of new sales tactics, developing and implementing an innovative performance management model to improve sales conversion
- Influence onboarding and updating training for sellers, ensuring they become proficient in wireless and wireline selling
Critical Qualifications
- Post-college education or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in management and direct supervision of staff/territory in the last year
- Furthermore candidates will have proven demonstrated abilities in the following:
- Previous sales management experience
- Strong teamwork and team leadership skills
- Solid Sales and prospecting experience
- Ability to address/resolve roadblocks impacting attainment of organizational goals
- Solid experience in managing relationships internally and externally with customer and suppliers
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Bell commercial products and services
- Excellent sense of organization, autonomy and project management skills
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, more specifically Excel
- Knowledge of Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Be available to work from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- English required: Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position
