What You'll Do
As a Finance CPA Graduate, you'll develop a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, controls, and business operations while supporting strategic and operational priorities across the organization. Through rotational assignments, you'll gain broad exposure to Bell's Finance organization and build the practical experience required for CPA certification.
- Complete a 24-month rotational program designed to support CPA practical experience requirements.
- Undertake two rotations within functions such as Internal Audit & Risk Advisory, Financial Close Controllers, Tax, Finance Operations, or External Reporting & Consolidations.
- Contribute to financial reporting, analysis, controls, audit, compliance, and operational finance activities.
- Support business initiatives and transformation projects through financial insights and recommendations.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance and business partners to improve processes and drive business outcomes.
- Leverage learning opportunities, mentorship, and CPA resources to support your professional development.
Education & Eligibility
- You have completed a bachelor’s degree before the program start date in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with working knowledge of accounting principles
- You must be eligible for full-time employment by September 2027
- You must meet all applicable pre-requisite requirements for the CPA Pre-Approved Program stream, including:
- Completion of the 14 prerequisite courses.
- Achievement of the required core and non-core course grades.
- Achievement of the minimum overall average for all core courses.
- Strong academic record, including a minimum B+ average in core courses.
- Demonstrated balance of academic achievement and extracurricular involvement.
Core Capabilities & Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, audit, controls, and business finance concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and digital tools quickly, including emerging AI solutions.
- Strong quantitative skills with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to a variety of audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using data to support recommendations and decision-making.
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Alteryx, or similar platforms is an asset.
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership potential, and a continuous learning mindset through academic, extracurricular, volunteer, or professional experiences.
