Summary

 

Bell Media’s Strategic Insights team is looking for a forward-thinking individual that is able to apply their analytical & creative skills to enhance our unique digital & traditional assets. This person must demonstrate a great ability to transform diverse information & data into impactful insights for our Bell Media stakeholders. The selected candidate must also have strong writing & presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Support the French Video & Audio Content, Sales, Digital, Distribution, Marketing and Communication teams by:
  • Tracking performance of our brands across multiple platforms, using established KPI, against relevant targets and historical benchmarks 
  • Finding the most relevant data and convert that information into actionable insights to generate higher viewership and better monetization
  • Leveraging a variety of tools & databases, to grow understanding of trends in media consumption and monetization
  • Update presentations & reports based on new information & survey results
  • Analyzing and estimating impact of specific tactics on media consumption and monetization
  • The focus of this position is to support the TV, Radio and Digital Content teams by:
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the different tools available to teams 
  • Create user-friendly and insightful dashboards
  • Assess and understand the needs & challenges of various teams in order to better meet their needs
  • Convert that information into insights & help the teams present it in a clear and convincing way

Critical Qualifications

 

  • University degree in marketing, business administration or related field
  • Experience in the media industry (including ad sales), in agency, marketing research or in data analysis
  • Skills & Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret data across a vast array of data sources and methodologiesAdvanced knowledge of Excel (pivots, formulas & macros), PowerPoint, SQL (an asset)
  • Strong oral and visual presentation skills to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and internal stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of industry-standard media measurement & data visualization tools such as Numeris (Instar), Vividata, comScore, mParticle, microStrategy, Triton
  • French (English, an asset)
  • Passionate about the Quebec media landscape (Video & Audio)
  • Curious and creative, with a sense of initiative and resourcefulness 
  • Organized with the ability to identify priorities and multi-task seamlessly
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, even under pressure
