Name and description of hiring department:

The Bell Business Markets Billing Team, is focussed on providing an exceptional customer experience at every touch-point for service delivery and support to our business customers.

The Billing representative is responsible for investigation, coordination and resolution of Bell Business Market billing inquiries. The agent is responsible for providing billing support and resolution for BBM customers, also working in collaboration with finance and sales team. It must ensure compliance with all relevant SOX law provisions. 

Job duties / Accountabilities

  • Prioritize, analyze, validate and provide resolution for billing inquiries, issues, or credit requests
  • Perform investigations, assessments, and provide problem solving support for customer billing investigation, inventory, re-print  and reconciliation requests
  • Collect and validates information to respond to queries, justify credit issuance including calculation and substantiation to fulfill approval requirements
  • Explain billing to customers as a result of inquiries or investigations
  • Issue and/or create billing adjustment requests


Essential skills / Competencies:

  • Solid customer service experience
  • Focused on communication, prioritizing the client experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • French Fluent in the language with no limitation
  • English Fluent in the language with no limitation
  • MS Excel intermediate (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
  • MS Word intermediate
  • Strong telephone etiquette
  • Excellent leadership skills, strong work ethics/discipline and integrity
  • Ability to work several requests at the same time and within strict timelines
  • Ensure that the billing period and deadlines are met.
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Be a strong ambassador for Bell and be instrumental in restoring trust
  • Ability to work as a team and in partnership with different departments
  • Resourceful and independent
  • High level of concentration


Preferred skills / Competencies:

  • Knowledege of EOM, IPOTS, NM1
  • Knowledge of the online billing management tool to help our business customers better manage their invoices (OBM)
  • Knowledge of DSL Broadband and IPVPN services

  • Business hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Bilingualism is required (English and French).
