Name and description of the hiring department

The Bell Business Markets Billing Team is focusing on providing an exceptional customer experience at every touch-point for service delivery and support to our Business market customers. The Customized Billing Solutions Agent is responsible for setting up customized billing solutions in collaboration with the internal teams in order to comply with specific contractual agreements. The agent must compile, analyze and coordinate complex information from various databases (internal, external or sub-contractors) in order to provide personalized billing solutions to large business clients. The agent is the single point of contact for custom billing solutions.

Job Duties / Accountabilities

  • Coordinate, analyze and validate billing data integrity to ensure implementation and ongoing maintenance of custom solutions and contract compliance, while protecting company revenue
  • Analyze requests, examine problems, determine and initiate the required actions to resolve them. This includes providing direction and recommendations to internal and external clients
  • Analyze, validate and consolidate data into service packages for different products, services and systems to produce customer billing in accordance with contractual billing requirements
  • Adapt invoicing solutions to the complexity of customers and in accordance with their constant changing needs
  • Ensure that billing deadlines are met
  • Handle complex and unique situations, manage billing requests, produce reports and ensure the resolution of complaints or disputes, including escalations
  • Provide support on customized billing solutions to internal and external clients
  • Collaboration on various projects
  • Participate in process improvement activities related to billing products and services
  • Analyze, suggest, adapt billing solutions according to the complexity of the customers in accordance with their needs and participate in the automation of billing solutions in collaboration with internal teams

  • MS Excel intermediate level (Pivot Tables, V Lookups, etc.)
  • Knowledge of English without any significant limitation. In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies

  • Strong billing experience
  • Knowledge of different invoicing platforms and applications (BCRIS, ARICS, NM1, NIBS, SAP, SINGLE VIEW, REVCHAIN, SAREPQ, BCT, IRDC, EOM, OBM, ON DEMAND, SMARTPATH etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Bell products and services for business customers

  • Business hours: Monday to Friday 8h – 16h30
