Summary

The Strategic Business Transformation Team (SBT) rolls-up under the CFO leadership and serves Bell corporate-wide. We are a diverse team of strategists, internal advisors, facilitators, and momentum-drivers. The Director will design and drive large, complex, cross-functional transformation programs that align with Bell’s strategic priorities. This role is critical in identifying and prioritizing opportunities and delivery of strategic solutions to support operating model and process transformation.

 

SBT offers a dynamic, fast-paced, and exciting environment with unique exposure to a wide range of Bell business units. Working within a high-performance area of the organization, the team provides opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and the chance to bring many of Bell’s most impactful initiatives to life. The Director will leverage methodologies like continuous improvement, BPM, and lean management to deliver measurable value and sustainable improvements. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and achieve the desired outcome

Reporting directly to the SVP, Strategic Business Transformation, the Director’s primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead strategic business transformation initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term objectives.
  • Analyze complex business challenges and develop comprehensive strategies to address them, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Oversee reorganizations, facilitating change management and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Utilize advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and prioritize transformation opportunities across the organization.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of performance improvement programs by establishing performance metrics and tracking progress.
  • Develop and deliver effective presentations to senior executives, clearly communicating strategic vision and transformation plans.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.
  • Mentor and guide team members, championing professional development and growth.

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 8-15 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar field with a proven track record of driving successful business transformations.
  • Demonstrated experience in process reengineering, change management, and strategic advisory.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in using data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Fortune 500 company or top consulting firm is highly desirable.
  • Certification in AGILE, BPM or Continuous improvement (Black Belt) is highly desirable.
  • Experience in telecommunications industry is desirable.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support project and transformation initiatives.
