The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  

The Large Connectivity portfolio is a major financial contributor to the overall BBM results.  The Manager plays a critical role as a business partner focused on improving financial performance.  The mandate is to produce financial data that will lead to profitable growth and influence business decisions.  This role liaises with multiple teams across BBM therefore strong strategic, analytical and critical insight is important.


Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, mainly relating to revenues, which drive the business forward and make compelling recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Advise the Product team on customer and product related revenue trajectories to influence business decisions.
  • Actively participate in the Forecasting and Planning exercises, including key metrics.
  • Work with Business Partners to improve the Gross Margin trajectory.
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects and business case analysis for various strategic initiatives to drive improved profitability
  • Liaise with the Deals, Sales & Consolidated Results teams.
  • Recommend, initiate and implement process improvements.


Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably with a professional designation.
  • Results oriented - proven ability to provide strategic, analytical and critical insight. Detail-oriented, with strong capacity to organize and synthesize large amounts of information to facilitate the decision-making process for the senior management team.
  • Constantly striving to improve deliverables - demonstrate flexibility and ingenuity to deliver results within tight deadlines, often in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to successfully resolve issues, diagnose business problems and deliver solutions in timely manner
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Knowledge of SAP, BI and BPC are preferred
  • Flexible work ethic especially during the month-end and planning cycles.






Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
