The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  



The Connectivity portfolio is a major financial contributor to the overall BBM results. The Finance Manager plays a critical role as a business partner, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Connectivity COGs. This role interfaces with multiple teams across BBM therefore strong strategic, analytical and critical insight is important.


Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis relating to COGs and labor related expenses to influence business decisions.
  • Partner with the Controller team and Network Cost Management to maintain the integrity and accuracy of expenses at the vendor and related customer levels.
  • Advise the Product and Marketing teams on customer and product related COGs trajectories.
  • Work with Business Partners such as the Carrier Sourcing and Access Strategy teams to achieve cost reduction targets and improve Gross Margin trajectory.
  • Actively participate in the Forecasting and Semi-annual Planning exercises, including key metrics.
  • Maintain and continually improve forecast models to ensure that key operational drivers are properly captured.
  • Recommend, initiate and implement process improvements.


Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role preferably with a professional designation.
  • Results oriented - proven ability to provide strategic, analytical and critical insight. Detail-oriented, with strong capacity to organize and synthesize large amounts of information to facilitate the decision-making process for the senior management team.
  • Strong leadership skills. Proven ability to be recognized as a business partner by main stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully resolve issues, diagnose business problems and deliver solutions in a timely manner
  • Constantly striving to improve deliverables & proactively enhance existing processes & systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (vlookup, sumifs, pivot table, file architecture, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SAP, BI and BPC is a preferred asset.
  • Flexible work ethic especially during the critical periods.





Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
