The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  

The Corporate Finance group is seeking a dynamic candidate interested in taking up different challenges. 


The team ensures the integrity of financial data used for statutory and internal reporting for Bell, its affiliates and subsidiaries. We create, compile, summarize, analyze and reconcile a variety of inputs to ensure that key financial information is prepared in accordance with accounting principles, audit, legal, and SOX requirements.


Job Duties/Accountabilities:


Responsible for planning and analyzing the financial results of Human Resources.  This involves:

  • Providing timely and accurate reporting of expense results and analysis
  • Reviewing and processing monthly accruals
  • Providing Finance support and expense analysis to Brand, Communications & Chair Québec as required
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance processes (internal and external audit, SOx, etc)
  • Manage YEE/Budget process during year
  • Support the development of the Multi year plan
  • Supervise associate in their functions (including coaching, objective performance...)
  • Capital Leases tracking (Suites-National)
  • Contract tracking for Sponsorships

Essential Qualifications / competencies:

  • Post Secondary Degree with a focus in Finance/Accounting
  • 3 to 5 years as a financial analyst in a large corporate environment
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications especially Excel
  • Strong problem solving skills with a determined mindset, always looking to get to the root cause of an issue and develop a better way of doing things
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing and organizing skills
  • Positive attitude, high degree of initiative and energy level
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt to a quickly changing work environment and meet short  deadlines
  • Bilingual (oral and written)



Preferred Qualifications / competencies:

  • An accounting designation – CMA, CGA or CA
  • Knowledge of Bell Canada financial tools and systems (SAP, BI, BPC, PEATs, FileMaker)
  • Good understanding of Finance/accounting principles


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
