Position Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Product Manager, Digital Sports, this position will act as the evangelist of the TSN product portfolio.  The successful candidate will help drive the vision, development, management and maintenance of all digital products for TSN on mobile web, mobile products, online sites and emerging platforms.  The manager will work closely with the product, content, development, project management, research, and engineering teams, as well as other stakeholders to drive content and video consumption, as well as to create an exceptional experience across platforms that supports Bell Media’s digital business and brand goals.


 Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Develop product strategy and roadmap for TSN that takes into account the market, customer needs, and Bell Media’s needs
  • Support the digital teams for TSN across the country and support ad and revenue opportunities
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance the customer experience; define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the product
  • Report on status of all digital projects in progress and performance of products in-market and identify market opportunities
  • Lead the ideation of the launch / enhancements of innovative products
  • Build business cases to support new initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of the TSN digital user as it relates to each platform ecosystem, both existing and potential
  • Facilitate the TSN Digital content syndication plan across Bell Media digital properties
  • Monitor the digital sports industry and continually assess the competitive landscape for emerging trends


Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Strong sports knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital product management or equivalent role
  • Ability to translate organizational vision into a product vision
  • Demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies
  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Ideally, experience launching digital products with demonstrated success
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for product excellence and partner success
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience delivering world class digital video experiences an asset


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
