Description:

Under the direction of the Multi-Platform Commercial Production Manager, the Project Manager for Sponsorships works with commercial clients as well as internal and external production teams. They manage production, approvals and the launching process of sponsorships, work actively to propose solutions, ensure rigorous quality control and ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

 

Tasks / Responsibilities Sponsorships:

  • Coordinate sponsorships for various television shows
  • Centralizes information relevant to a campaign for the various stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Be the point of contact with clients and media agencies, internal production teams, programming teams and news department
  • Organize the different stages of production (documents, briefs, production requests, deliverables, approvals, until the final delivery)
  • Management of all resources
  • Produce the advertising elements necessary for the sponsorship (pre-production / post-production)
  • Supervise the production steps and ensure the execution, according to the standards, parameters and procedures, and ensure the quality of the material and information required for the elements of sponsorship
  • Direct editing sessions (video and audio)
  • Prepare or obtain the "commercial proofs / video / web extracts" required so that they are made available as soon as possible (video, Quicktime, etc.) to advertisers who request it (clip broadcast copies)
  • Direct weekly voice over sessions for the news department
  • Contribute to developing a network of contacts relevant to production

 

Tasks / Responsibilities Projects:

  • Ensure that all in-house commercial production, for the RDS networks, is performed according to the standards and procedures
  • Manage the production of advertising, promotional or thematic material in video / print / electronic / required for commercial productions for broadcast on RDS networks
  • Be familiar with the various stages of production (from brief to final delivery)
  • Participate in film shoots when necessary
  • Manage production teams in all stages of production, including editors, researchers, graphic designers, video technicians, sound technicians, actors, voice talent, etc.
  • Choose music and sound effects
  • Complete requests for the graphic room for post-production projects
  • Direct editors (video and audio) in the work they must perform for your assigned projects
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with external clients (advertising agencies and advertisers, etc.), internal (Montreal and Toronto account managers and other sales offices) as well as internal suppliers (production-programming-marketing) and external (production house, manufacturers, promoters and business partners)
  • Prepare and execute the encoding of closed captioning if necessary
  • Manage NCP, TVB and RACJ records as needed
  • Management of the production budget (finances, statement of account, payment of suppliers)
  • Keep the production report up-to-date

 

Other:

  • Actively participate in setting up and developing production processes
  • Actively participate in the implementation and development of project management tools
  • Any other task of the same nature or general order related to the job, requested by direct superior or necessitated by duties (creation and production of documents, organization of meetings, classifications, etc.)

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Have a Diploma in production and at least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
  • Interest in sports, sports programs
  • Knowledge of Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Photoshop (an asset) as well as software related to production
  • Familiarity with the following production elements: television editing (Avid) with regards to professional video production (images and sound), digital graphics, editing methods and best practices
  • Experience in production, post-production
  • Knowledge of web and social media material and formats
  • Flexibility with work schedule (operational constraints)
  • Occasional location shoots (driver’s license required)
  • Ability to learn and adapt
  • Attention to detail, meticulous execution of tasks
  • Evolve in a dynamic, open-air atmosphere
  • Excellent organization
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the maintenance of a healthy team dynamic
  • Excellent ability to listen to the client (internal / external), to understand problems and to find solutions
  • Autonomy and sense of organization / time management
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines in a harmonious atmosphere
  • Must be flexible and able to respond in a timely and polite manner urgent demands
  • Excellent communication
  • Bilingual in English and French

 

Bilingualism is required (English and French).
