As a security architect (DevSecOps), you must understand the management and security environments of Bell Canada (internal clients) and those of managed clients (external clients) in terms of the various Bell’s cybersecurity objectives.

 

Your responsibilities will include keeping abreast of the latest security developments, analyzing the situation and making changes in the organization of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Part of your daily work will be to challenge certain concepts and ideals. The goal is to help your peers’ knowledge to evolve and to open their minds to new approaches.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical advisor by mentoring other team members
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of security standards
  • Supervise the development and implementation of new technological approaches, services and methods and analyze the resulting impact on applications
  • Act as a mentor in the development teams with a view to implementing exemplary application development practices: Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC)
  • Implement automation tools and mentoring in a DevSecOps philosophy mindset
  • Clarify and standardize the visibility of security considerations for the team
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on the systems and procedures

 

Desired skills:

  • University or college degree in Computer Science or five years’ equivalent experience in Information Technology
  • Knowledge of offensive and defensive operational security tactics and tactical support for security incident response teams
  • Good understanding of the security measures for operating systems and application protection systems (Web, Mobile Apps, Cloud Apps, Internal Apps, etc.)
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM tools, vulnerability analysis tools, penetration testing, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and simplification skills
  • Leadership and organizational skills and ability to take initiatives
  • Advanced knowledge of managing RHEL, Centos and Ubuntu systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills and very detail oriented
  • Security certification: CISSP, CEH, GSEC, OSCP an asset
  • Experience with CI/CD tools an asset
  • Experience with container orchestration an asset
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
  • Autonomous, self-learner and ability to assimilate new methodologies, frameworks and technologies
  • Skilled thinker, proactive, highly resourceful and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage time and priorities across multiple projects and duties
