Reporting to Director, Security Engineering & Program Management, the successful candidate will responsible for leading the Vulnerability Management team accountable for the Vulnerability Management function in the Network organization and Bell Business Market customers. The team is responsible for operational aspects as they work between teams to ensure remediation with our partners in operations. The overarching goal of the team is to ensure that we have high confidence in understanding and taking action on the threats as they are posed to the infrastructure component.

 

This role provides an excellent opportunity to liaise with key external and internal stakeholders within various Bell business units (IT, Corp Sec, BBM)

 

Key responsibilities:

Lead the people, process and technology transformation needed to evolve and operate a Vulnerability Management practice. This function is comprised of a team focused on defining, implementing and overseeing Vulnerability Management programs geared at uplifting our Network Business Unit’s security posture and for critical BBM customers. The main functions are:

 

  • Oversight and management of vulnerability identification and remediation activities
  • Define and Maintain the Strategy and Roadmap for the VM program
  • Develop metrics to report on the efficiency of the vulnerability management program
  • Provide consultations in areas of VM solution direction and issue resolution
  • Continuously evaluate the ability for VM capabilities to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, provide more capabilities, reduce risks, and increase security
  • Assess and recommend remediation for vulnerabilities in conjunction with business and system stakeholders.
  • Report on the Security posture to our partners

 

Partner and collaborate with Corporate Security, IT and other internal business units to oversee implementation of necessary security measures and proper posture.
