Job Description:
Reporting to Director – Implementation & Infrastructure Management, National, you will be responsible for activities related to the approvals and authorization of network build and maintenance of wireless coverage and capacity sites for Bell Mobility. You will be responsible for negotiations and management associated with Bell’s wireless network.  The Network Real Estate Services department manages a portfolio of more than a eight thousand locations nationally. The selected candidate will work closely with various cross-functional teams within Bell’s organization, most notably; Construction, R.F., Detailed and Transmission Engineering, as well as Operations Management.



  • Responsible to form part of a cross-functional leadership team with Sr. Managers from other disciplines to build and foster a culture of Lean-based continuous improvement,
  • Directly manage a team of Real Estate Managers, Administrators and Consultants tasked with the challenge of ensuring delivery of all real estate and government milestones required by the Zone and Territory 18-month rolling plan,
  • Build and foster strong relationships with other Bell business unit leaders to promote one voice of Bell outside the organization,
  • Act as primary territory relationship owner with local Municipalities and other specialized government authorities (CPTAQ),
  • Build and foster strong partnerships with Territory hydro distribution carriers for reciprocal infrastructure sharing,
  • Participate in, and liaise with Bell’s Internet of Things initiative to creatively uncover increased machine-to-machine opportunities with Landlord, Municipal and Hydro authorities,
  • Work with Legal and Regulatory departments for litigation and escalation matters
  • Management and evolution of Standard Lease Agreements, Approvals, Licenses,
  • Manage and track all Territory real estate finances;  capital budgets, operating budgets, forecasts, and on-going monthly tracking to year-end expectancies,
  • Establish and report on performance metrics.


Essential skills / Competencies:

  • Post secondary degree in Business, Real Estate or Planning,  
  • 3-5 years experience in leading teams, preferably in the real estate telecommunications industry,
  • Basic knowledge of wireless network technology,
  • Knowledge and experience with wireless antenna siting,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Self-sufficient and strong ability to adapt to change quickly,
  • Leadership, autonomy, initiative, efficiency,
  • Excellent time/priority management skills,
  • Ability to motivate others and promote team spirit and employee value,
  • Superior negotiation ability (dealing with landlord and tenants and customer on legal and financial matters).
  • Bilingual (French / English) with strong presentation ability in both official languages,


Preferred skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),
  • Understanding of Regulatory affairs is a strong asset,
  • Real Estate & Accounting experience, and;
  • Intermediate level or advanced knowledge of Office software: Word, Excel, Access, etc.



Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
