Summary
As part of the Service Transformation team, the Service Design and Transition Architect (SDTA) plays a key role in supporting customized customer contracts by being involved in both the solution and delivery phases. The role’s primary focus is to embed themselves in the deal process to consult and direct solutions based on Bell Business Markets (BBM) operational and transformation best practises and procedures, while collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders. The SDTA will have a chance to collaborate with other like-minded high-energy professionals that are passionate about contributing to Bell’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for innovation to maintain the transformation roadmap and keep abreast of internal business capabilities, systems and products
- Examine and validate business requirements needed by the customer under BBM’s Custom Deal Process and governance
- Establish solution intent and apply a structured business architecture approach by confirming technical and operational requirements for each assigned project, including modifications to corporate systems, reports, customer experience and IT solutions
- Facilitates and/or participates in various working sessions with the clients and Bell stakeholders
- Communicates with Bell stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and communicated, and delivery solutions aligned with the requirements
- Collaborate with the business units to confirm their deliverables and facilitates resolution of roadblocks (when applicable) supporting the project management team
- Proactively identifies and resolves deal related issues and escalates when required
- Create documentation using approved methodology
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5 years experience developing, maintaining Business Domain Architecture
- Experience in requirements analysis and documentation
- Knowledge of the business for processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
- Exceptional communication
- Skills at all levels of the organization
- Excellent knowledge and experience in service provisioning, customer service, service assurance, workforce management, change management, billing, reporting, process automation, monitoring tools, service levels and security
- Act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to the development teams; applies equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and work flow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realisation and service delivery
- Team player able to work effectively and influence others to move toward consensus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Knowledge and certifications on TM Forum (eTOM), ITIL, SAFe and/or TOGAF is an asset
- Bilingualism required:
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
- As part of the job, this person will be required to produce documents in French & English.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
