Reporting directly to the Senior Manager - Compliance, the Project Manager is accountable for the overall delivering multiple phases of an Integrated Risk Management (IRM) program. The role will allow the incumbent to be proactively involved in all aspect of the daily operations for the Corporate Security & Responsibility sector. It is a phenomenal opportunity to be part of an ever-changing environment, to break silos amongst channels. The role will provide the opportunity to be managing both large and small projects with speed and accuracy.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new processes to forecast and track project benefits
  • Lead initiatives from ideation through to development and post launch support as the overall project manager to ensure flawless execution
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on benefits and impacts being delivered at the project-level and their relevance to the big picture.
  • Understand, communicate and document all critical project information including but not limited to project planning, feasibility analysis, business case, business requirements, and executive and partner stakeholder presentations.
  • Develop working relationships with primes from across the organization and various internal business stakeholders to capture and represent the team’s needs through all aspects of the projects.
  • Engage and influence senior management and executives through all project phases to ensure alignment and sign-off on key areas (with a focus on benefits/impacts in particular).
  • Manage project timelines to ensure all projects are tracking to plan and all milestones are successfully delivered.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and managing multiple work streams at the same time.

 

Experience/Core Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to work with numbers.
  • Experience in reporting.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Curious and asks questions to uncover the story behind the data.
  • Able to go from macro to micro – can grasp the big picture but drill down when need.
  • Comfortable communicating at all different levels, from cross-functional to executive.
  • Passion for uncovering business needs, identifying opportunities, and aligning efforts to ensure timely implementation.
  • Experience in creating strategic presentations to executives and senior management to provide program updates.
  • Excellent skills in planning, organizing and prioritizing
  • Ability to understand complex dynamics of working with multiple stakeholders with divergent interests.
  • Fully proficient in MS Office suite.

 

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • 3 – 5 years large-scale project management experience or PMP preferred
  • Past experience in delivering an Integrated risk management program or solution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver effective presentations and communications through all levels of the organization, strong grasp of English, French is a benefit.
  • Solid understanding of program execution methodologies
  • Team player with a strong focus on interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Ability to analyze results, identify issues, and develop recommendations/processes
  • Meticulous attention to details
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, concurrent projects and shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working at different levels of the organization   
  • Self Starter with high degree of initiative and energy level
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects)

 

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
