On the Consumer and Small business team you’ll work across a portfolio of brands and solutions. From Bell’s best networks for the home, the office and on the go to the member benefits at Virgin Plus to the cheap and cheerful plans at Lucky Mobile we meet the connectivity needs of all customer segments in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Defining strategy for access network agnostic communication products
  • Work with regulatory, legal, marketing and other stakeholders to determine requirements
  • Build business cases for new product introductions and product migrations
  • Work with senior leadership to define requirements and terms for 3rd party partnerships
  • Manage highly complex projects and/or strategic initiatives with large cross functional teams
  • Interact and communicate directly with client teams and executives
  • Prepare and deliver project, client and executive status reports
  • Prepare and contribute to internal presentations concerning project scope, timeline, activities, issues, budget and progress
  • Proactively track and manage issues and risks while escalating to senior project management to ensure that possible actions will mitigate these
  • Prepare project timelines and assist with the determination of a project scope that is scheduled in manageable components
  • Monitor timelines and project cost to ensure adherence with approved project plans
  • Protect project scope using change management procedures to protect against “scope creep”
  • Facilitate team meetings to communicate progress, status, issues, assignments and urgency
  • Perform and document post-project reviews
  • Ensure that quality management standards are adhered to and that projects are completed on time, on specification and on budget

Critical Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with demonstrated results
  • Highly developed organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills including the ability to solicit cooperation and resolve conflict
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Team oriented; action oriented; self-motivated and delivery focused. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate financial and non-financial performance in relation to program strategies.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Superior data management and analysis skills
  • Advanced knowledge of product management principles and practices.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to gather and analyze requirements. Ability to prioritize features and stories.
  • University degree in a related field
  • PMP designation or equivalent would be beneficial
