The Bell Media Project Engineering team is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual who is a strong communicator, very organized, and who can help us find creative solutions to problems. In this role, you will lead the management and optimization of our support contracts, circuits, and financial processes and results. Here’s a sample of what you may be asked to do:


1.) Support Contract Management

  • Working with Procurement and Senior Management team, track contract renewal dates and carry out necessary follow ups to get contracts renewed in timely manner
  • Oversee team admin to ensure Purchase Orders are Goods Received (GR’d) on time
  • Consolidate license and equipment requirements across entire team and highlight bulk requirements to Procurement
  • Proactively identify cost savings/simplification opportunities with Procurement
  • Evolve tools/processes to build and provide accurate forecasts and actuals to Finance


2.) Circuit Management/Fiber Lines

  • Liase with NTS Team (Network Technology Systems) to capture circuit changes that would affect monthly circuit charges and inform Finance of any cost deltas
  • Identify cross coding requirements to respective Business Units, and inform Business Unit accounting prime of these changes  (e.g. BBM/Video/Wholesale, Encompass, Ontera)  
  • Build and provide accurate forecasts and actuals to Finance team


3.) Financial Management – Opex & Capex

  • Point of contact for Finance for all financial related items
  • Responsible to manage Opex & Capex budgets: LRP, YEE, month end – co-ordinate inputs from primes, manage/track spend, make cost savings/improvement recommendations
  • Oversee team’s PO (Purchase Order) Creation and invoice processing activities by supporting team admin responsible for PO creation
  • Use SAP to pull reports and analyse trends


4.) Asset Management & Logistics

  • Develop and maintain a system and process to track equipment throughout the building
  • Facilitate rollout of Asset Management system to Network teams at Agincourt including tagging and logging backlogged equipment
  • Manage POC (Proof of Concept) equipment returns


Your strengths include:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • SAP knowledge
  • Attentive to details
  • Superior Communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent personal organization and ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks
  • Ability to lead and  motivate staff
  • Ability influence and persuade team members and clients
  • Comfortable working without routine supervision 
  • Strong analytical skills

It helps if you have:

  • Basic programming skills in Excel
  • Financial management analysis experience
  • Project management experience




Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
