Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Product Developer who thrives at the intersection of software engineering and product management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building end‑to‑end software solutions while also shaping product strategy, translating customer needs into requirements, and driving execution across cross‑functional teams.

You’ll spend part of your time defining the roadmap, scoping features, and ensuring we deliver solutions and products that truly solve user problems — and the rest designing, developing, and shipping innovative code.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Define product vision, strategy, and measurable success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs, customer insights, and technical considerations into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Own feature definition, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and user research to guide product planning.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional alignment.

Full Stack Development

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable full-stack applications across front‑end and back‑end components.
  • Build clean, efficient, maintainable code using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, Node.js, .NET, Java, Python).
  • Develop APIs, integrate third‑party services, and contribute to database schema design.
  • Participate in code reviews and support CI/CD practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
  • Collaborate with QA to define test plans and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Work with DevOps/Cloud teams on deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences to drive alignment.

Critical Qualifications

Product Skills

  • Experience writing user stories and defining functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑centric approach.
  • Ability to balance tech debt, delivery timelines, and feature priorities.
  • Comfort with product tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
  • Ability to conduct user discovery and use data to guide product decisions.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.

Technical Skills

  • 2–4 years as a full-stack developer or similar engineering role.
  • Proficiency in at least one major front‑end framework.
  • Proficiency in at least one server‑side language or framework.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong ownership mindset—proactive, resourceful, and execution‑focused.
  • Collaborative approach when working with engineering, design, data, and business teams.
  • Strong in Systems and Design Thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DevSecOps concepts (CI/CD, IaC, containerization).
  • Exposure to UX research methods or design systems.
  • Experience in a SaaS or platform‑based environment.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Power BI, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
