Summary
We are seeking a motivated and analytically sharp Business Analyst to join our Operations team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong financial acumen, focused on driving operational efficiency and performance through data analysis and process improvement.
You will analyze key performance metrics, manage resource data, contribute to forecasting, and ensure the integrity of operational reporting, with a specific emphasis on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyze key business trends and their impact on operational performance metrics, using financial data for actionable insights.
- Prepare operational performance reports for key areas including headcount management and project profitability.
- Assist in operational forecasting and budgeting by gathering and analyzing relevant financial and resource data.
- Compile data for operational performance reports utilized by management and stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support operational decision-making and issue resolution.
- Resource Management & Staffing Support:
- Leveraging business tools manage resource utilization and prepare reports highlighting operational efficiency.
- Assist in gathering data for resource forecasting.
- Identify and propose enhancements to operational processes and leverage automation tools (e.g., AI, M365 Power Platform) to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Critical Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, operations support, or a finance-related role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong aptitude for data analysis, identifying trends, and systematic problem-solving.
- Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS), pivot tables, charting, and data manipulation.
- Reporting & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare clear reports and present information effectively to various stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially under pressure.
- Learning Agility: A proactive attitude and strong desire to learn new skills, tools, and processes in operations, finance, and resource management.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within an operations team and with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn PSA tools, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and adapt work schedules to meet aggressive timelines.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach to supporting internal stakeholders.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
