On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Name and description of the hiring department
The successful candidate is responsible in protecting and recovering company revenues, negotiating and escalating any issues to prevent additional losses and ensuring customer satisfaction. The candidate manages a dedicated portfolio of corporate clients which involves identifying roadblocks and providing solutions. The candidate is also responsible for analyzing billing discrepancies, which involves considerable investigation of numerous sources, initiating corrective action and ensuring all billing terms are met. Reports to Credit and Receivables Manager.
Job Duties / Accountabilities
• Responsible for all daily deposits that are unmatched or in error status in Electronics Funds
• Transfer tool to be applied immediately
• Responsible for investigating misapplied payments
• Prepare reports for management on the status of cash collections
• Manage and negotiate receivables on a dedicated portfolio across all billing platforms
• Customize account receivable reports where necessary to ensure tracking of large invoices in order for customer to make payment within terms
• Research, analyze, investigate and resolve billing issues where applicable
• Evaluate customer billing and account management needs, conducting investigations and developing proposals incorporating billing solutions
• Participate in cross-functional committees to improve processes, gain efficiencies, and reduce costs while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Examine payment roadblocks and make decisions on corrective actions where applicable
• Facilitate face-to-face meetings and conference calls with customers to resolve issues and disputes
• Handle and prioritize simultaneous demands from several sources, while working autonomously within tight deadlines
• Other tasks as assigned
Essential Qualifications / Competencies
• University/college education in a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Excel, Word and PowerPoint intermediate level
• Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities and short timeframes
• Troubleshooting problems, gathering and developing efficiencies
• Above average knowledge of business process flows, and applicable tools
• Ability to problem solve, manage priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong motivational skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Ability to multitask and negotiate with customers as required
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies
• Knowledge of SAP and Bell billing systems (ARICS, BCRIS, NIBS, NM1)
• Knowledge of RevChain and SingleView billing systems
Working Conditions
• Monday to Friday: normal business hours
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
