Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team, supporting internal and external communications initiatives for Crave, Specialty Channels, and MuchMusic. Job Description
- Social Media Strategy: Contribute to and execute social media strategies designed to enhance brand PR
- Content Creation & Editing: Write, edit, and proofread compelling communications materials, including weekly/monthly Crave alerts, screener emails, LinkedIn and Instagram posts
- Content Management: Populate and maintain content on The Lede (our internal content platform) using WordPress, including uploading photo assets and screeners, as well as updating and curation of social media platforms
- Media Monitoring: Conduct daily media monitoring of assigned programs and brands
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports, working with AI tools and Meltwater, for earned media coverage and campaign performance, creating insightful presentations for executive leadership
- Event Support: Assist the communications team in planning and executing events and press days
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, digital, brand partnership, and social media teams
Critical Qualifications
- Diploma from a University/College program specializing in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or marketing
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in a career in entertainment communications
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with talent

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
