Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data science principles, advanced technical skills, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions. The team primarily focuses on use cases for contact center optimization, developing data-driven solutions, and building applications for seamless business integration. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative, high-impact data products within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and fine-tune advanced predictive models, including deep learning models, to optimize key business and customer experience metrics.
- Build low-latency, robust cloud-based applications to support seamless solution integration with production systems.
- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to identify insights and propose strategies to address complex technical challenges.
- Effectively communicate data-driven insights and proposed solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively seek opportunities to develop and apply new skills towards the improvement of data science processes and technical methodologies.
- Provide technical mentorship and actively contribute to a collaborative team environment.Identifies critical needs and takes decisive action to address them effectively and efficiently.
- Actively seeks and implements new ideas and innovative solutions, proactively exploring new areas and opportunities for growth.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer needs, anticipating and exceeding expectations to drive customer satisfaction.

Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in a data science, machine learning, or analytics role.
- Experience in a cloud environment (GCP is preferred, but cloud skills are transferable).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Expertise in a wide range of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Experience with popular machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong foundational knowledge of statistical methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field.
- Certification in cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., GCP).
- Familiarity with Generative AI and knowledge of building and leveraging agentic workflows.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
