Summary
The Wholesale Finance team is a high‑performing group of finance professionals who partner closely with the business to drive growth, profitability, and informed decision‑making. We achieve this through rigorous analysis, clear insights, and trusted financial advice.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the Wholesale business through end‑to‑end financial planning, performance management, and strategic analysis. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional partners to identify opportunities, manage risks, and improve financial outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage working capital related activities (A/R, AFDA, and AFRA), month end analysis and reporting, and provide timely, accurate updates to Finance Director
- Drive initiatives to mitigate collection risk, supporting bad debt reduction and DSO improvement
- Lead the P&L planning, budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly outlook
- Investigate variances to forecast and plan; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with various business partners to identify key opportunities and risks impacting financial performance
- Prepare financial reporting for revenue agreements and support Sales team by providing revenue analysis on customers and products
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support business initiatives
- Conduct special projects, deep dive analyses and ad hoc reporting as required to identify revenue and EBITDA growth opportunities and support business agility
Critical Qualifications
- 2-5 years of related FP&A experience
- Strong financial and accounting background
- Advanced Excel and database skills, including experience building complex financial models
- Ability to leverage approved AI tools to accelerate data analysis and drive process improvement
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and propose practical solutions
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment
- A positive, “can-do” attitude with high degree of initiative and energy
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills; effective collaborator and team player
- Detail-oriented, creative, and adaptable
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professionally designated CPA
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
