Position: Graphic Designer, Bell Media, Unifor 723

Status: Temporary Full Time (1-year Contract)

Salary: As per Collective Agreement

Location: 299 Queen Street, Toronto

 

Our Team:                                         

We’re looking for a designer to work with premium key art from exciting brands such as TMN, CraveTV, and HBO Canada, ensuring its best use in multiple platforms. Be part of an exciting team located in the heart of Toronto.

 

Your Contribution:  

  • A portfolio, showcasing innovative conceptual design and strong problem solving skills. Demonstrate an artistic aptitude, exceptional sense of design and thorough knowledge of design theory and principles
  • Production design. Ability to iterate same artwork into multiple different sizes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Translate concepts effectively against objectives and deliver on schedule
  • Encourage experimentation at the idea stage
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and work with the Creative Director
  • Work closely with Affiliate Marketing and Consumer Marketing to ensure proper alignment across campaigns
  • A team player with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven 
  • environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • You consume both new media and Bell Media brands

 

Technical:

  • Deep understanding of Photoshop and production design
  • Adobe Creative Suite. Photoshop, Illustrator being the main one’s you’ll use
  • A background in print design/editorial layout an asset
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience working on responsive sites an asset
  • Experience working on mobile applications an asset

 

Education:

  • An undergraduate degree or diploma in Graphic Design/Multimedia
  • Applicants without a design portfolio will not be considered
