Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically curious individual to join our Security Testing and Incident Response Team as a Junior cyber Security Consultant. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in cybersecurity and a strong desire to grow in penetration testing and security consulting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following: 

  • Learn and assist in performing: network penetration testing, web and mobile application security assessments, wireless network assessments 
  • Develop foundational skills in scripting, tooling, and methodologies to support security testing processes 
  • Prepare and deliver accurate technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Present findings to clients, including both technical teams and executives
  • Ensure timely delivery of solutions and consulting engagements in line with contract terms and industry best practices
  • Participate in client meetings to support the presentation and disclosure of findings
  • Support project execution and help triage issues that may arise during engagements
  • Communicate security risks and findings clearly and confidently to clients
  • Collaborate with and learn from senior team members, contribute to a positive team environment 

Critical Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field or equivalent business experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Network penetration testing, Web or mobile application testing, Software development (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity (e.g., participation in security competitions is a plus)
  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, etc., are a plus but not required
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of offensive security

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
