Be at the centre of Bell’s transformation and growth on the Corporate Services team. Enabling our industry-leading businesses requires many teams working collaboratively, such as Corporate Security & Responsibility, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Procurement, Strategic Business Transformation and Real Estate. Summary
We are looking for a proactive and creative communications professional to help shape how Bell connects with its team. This role focuses on planning and delivering clear, accurate, and timely information that helps employees understand corporate priorities, business changes, and key initiatives. Working closely with internal partners and senior leaders, the Manager, Communications develops content across multiple formats and channels. The role requires strong judgment, solid writing skills, and the ability to manage issues and competing priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of internal communications plans and tactics tha improve understanding of key programs, priorities, and direction and enhance engagement and confidence across the organization
- Create clear and compelling content on a range of topics and in diverse formats (written, digital, visual, etc.)
- Partner with and advise senior leaders owning communications strategies and materials, including the development of communications materials such as team updates, articles, posts, key messages, speaking notes, scripts, and other briefing materials
- Create and execute internal engagement plans, activities and events -- both virtual and in-person
- Support change management plans, key internal programs and (add something)
- Apply exceptional judgement to anticipate and effectively manage organizational risks and issues
- Recommend innovative approaches to maximize reach and engagement across internal channels
- Stay up-to-date on communications trends and issues that affect Bell’s business across the country
Critical Qualifications
- University degree in communications or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive experience corporate communications at a medium to large organization
- Superior writing and editing skills across a variety of vehicles
- Demonstrated success in internal communications campaigns and programs
- Strong issues management / crisis comms experience
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver quality communications with tight deadlines
- Good understanding of video, digital and short-format communications
- Self-motivated and resilient to changing timelines and requests
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with a technology or telecoms company an asset
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
