Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Program Management to align our customer-first goals with technology investments by leading our "Idea to Value" program. This program represents our strategic, end-to-end effort to make project delivery a core superpower for Bell. The program’s mission is to bring Customer-First ideas to market faster, more cost-effectively, and with a clear, measurable focus on business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will drive the adoption and maturity of our AI-powered platform, acting as the critical bridge between business leadership and technology execution to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively planned, prioritized, and managed. This critical role will be responsible for:
- Strategic Alignment: Work with leadership and business units to advance the Idea to Value strategy by building a unified AI-powered platform that maximises customer and business value from investments.
- Platform Enablement: Champion the use of ServiceNow SPM (including Demand, Resource, Project, and Portfolio Management) as the single source of truth for strategic planning and execution. Drive platform adoption and maturity across the organization.
- Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine portfolio management processes, including intake, prioritization, resource capacity planning, and financial management, leveraging ServiceNow SPM capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and Finance to ensure clear communication, alignment on priorities, and effective use of the platform.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports within ServiceNow to provide leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health, resource allocation, and strategic goal attainment. Use this data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and manage the strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow SPM platform, ensuring it evolves to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Governance & Training: Establish and oversee governance standards for portfolio data and processes. Develop and deliver training programs to empower users and ensure consistent platform usage.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a role related to business strategy, strategic planning, or portfolio management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior-level leadership and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PPM, Agile portfolio management).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow specifically with the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module
- 2 to 3 years of recent work experience supporting and managing IT or Technology Services projects and design initiatives within a large, customer-first environment
- Design Thinking and Agile tools (i.e. Confluence, Jira, Miro) experience is an asset
- Telecommunications experience, IT, Technology, Finance, or exposure to a variety of strategic roles
- Excellent project management and change management skills
- Experience translating concepts into capability, resource, and product/service requirements
- Involved in large-scale transformational projects and operations as an analyst/developer/project manager
- Valued for executing cutting-edge projects with technology components in a complex, matrixed environment
- Experience leading workshops, whiteboard discussions, technology roadmaps, and customer consultations
- Certifications in project or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, SAFe).
- Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
