Summary

The Bell DSP - Account Executive will be responsible for supporting their assigned agencies and advertisers, meeting revenue & client servicing goals. You will develop a deep understanding of the Bell DSP platform, provide business consultation, cultivate client relationships, identify business opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue at the buying and planning levels.

This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for problem solving and is seeking a role with direct and significant impact on the short and long-term success of the company. Excellent communication and analytical skills, including the ability to get to the root of a problem, are critical, as is the ability to exercise good judgment independently. The individual needs to be able to breakdown complex technology and explain it with simplicity, and have a natural interest in business drivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet individual Bell DSP revenue target, and contribute to the overall revenue success of Bell Media.
  • Act as the day-to-day named point of contact for a determined list of client accounts, managing all requests to ensure a premium service level.
  • Be the client’s advocate internally with cross-functional teams including partnership and product teams.
  • Effectively network with the account at all levels; be a trusted advisor to ensure successful account plan execution and business growth.
  • Leverage knowledge of Bell DSP offerings, data driven insights, and understanding of client objectives to problem solve together and co-create valuable solutions.
  • Understand clients’ strategies, KPIs, goals and ROI metrics to identify risks to clients achieving their goals and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Support the development of spend growth through Programmatic Guaranteed, Private Marketplace, and Open Exchanges opportunities.
  • Help manage, track, and report weekly on all activities and results.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and provide feedback to internal resources as needed to resolve customer issues.
  • Consistently monitor campaigns and performance and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Represent the client needs with other functional teams. Improve internal knowledge based on competitive landscape, best practices and client success stories

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Media, Technology or other related field
  • 3+ years experience in digital media buying/ sales and/or hands-on experience using programmatic buy platforms (ideally working for a DSP, agency, ad network, exchange, or web publisher) 
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue targets in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Proven ability to derive and effectively communicate insights from analyzing data
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
