The Planning and Reporting team within the Corporate Store team is responsible for leveraging data to drive insights and improve the effectiveness or our retail stores. We work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive long term value and meet business objectives.


 

The Role

The role will allow the incumbent to be proactively involved in all aspects of the planning, reporting and insights of sales and operations for retail at Bell Mobility. It is a phenomenal opportunity for individuals with an interest in applying their skills in querying and manipulating large data sets along with the chance to leverage knowledge of big data platforms and/or to develop new skills using SAS and MicroStrategy to drive automation and advanced reporting for the business.   

Responsibilities

  • Drive insights of retail sales and operations data, using tools such as MS Excel, SAS/SQL, MicroStrategy, GenAI, or Tableau to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop strong interpersonal relationships with cross-functional partners (Inventory, Business Intelligence, Compensation, etc.) to achieve business objectives
  • Translate complex analytical processes and insights into a non-technical manner to be easily understood by management
  • Support the digitization of retail processes with a focus on driving growth and reducing operating expenses
  • Manage multiple projects related to enhancements of retail operational processes through collaboration with multiple stakeholders

Critical Qualifications

  • Highly adaptable to change and a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Directors and VPs about technical data using layman terms
  • Demonstrated analytical ability with focus on detail, accuracy, complex problem solving and logic capabilities
  • Ability to leverage analytical and generative AI tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or a quantitative field 
  • Previous experience using BI tools such as SAS/Teradata/MicroStrategy/R 

Working Conditions

  • Candidate must work 37.5 hours weekly, Monday – Friday, 
  • Overtime may be required for project implementations, testing, and support
