Summary
The Product Manager, Advertising Products will contribute to Bell Media’s advertising product strategy, focusing on scaling Bell Media’s ad inventory and revenue and optimizing the integration of our ad suite. This role requires a collaborative product professional with strong knowledge of the AdTech ecosystem. You will support the management of advertising products that digitize our media and help make Bell Media a digital powerhouse. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, Video Ad Tech you will partner with our ad sales & operations, content platforms, engineering and revenue management teams to execute our growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ad product strategy and roadmap, defining product requirements and solutions for specific features across Bell Media’s video properties, leveraging knowledge of adtech, the advertising media ecosystem, and the ad buyer perspective.
- Engaging in detailed engineering discussions and broader conversations with key stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying key industry, competitive, and technology trends and communicating their implications to product teams.
- Quantify and prioritize product improvements within assigned product areas and adtech solutions.
- Champion collaboration and teamwork, working effectively with people across departments, levels of seniority, time zones, and cultures.
- Define success metrics, measure performance, and iterate based on user feedback for specific product features.
- Manage collaboration with key adtech suppliers (e.g., DSP, SSP, Ad Server solutions) on partnership initiatives.
Critical Qualifications
- University degree in business, engineering, or computer science, with a strong technical and analytical background.
- 2-4 years of ad tech, product management and/or solutions engineering experience, with a focus on developing, deploying, and launching Ad tech-driven products.
- Experience managing technical projects from ideation to implementation (PMP certification is an asset).
- Experience with advertising technologies such as DSP, SSP, OMS, Ad Servers or other ad technology.
- Experience working in an agile build squad/team, understanding agile/scrum fundamentals including user story development, backlog grooming, managing velocity, and establishing metrics of success.
- Technical background a plus, including experience working with common enterprise software-as-a-service platforms, service-oriented architectures, and modern software environments (Javascript-based, APIs, AWS services, etc.).
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrates strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience interacting with senior stakeholders and leadership, demonstrating business-acumen.
- Proactive problem solver, with a passion for learning, and is results-oriented.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
