Be at the centre of Bell’s transformation and growth on the Corporate Services team. Key Responsibilities
- Leading a team of Project Delivery Managers to deliver projects successfully through the complete lifecycle from opportunity through to transition to Operations. This will include ensuring that the project is delivered on time, meets business & technical requirements and is within the agreed budget.
- Ensuring Project Management and Implementation team have what they need to manage the day-to-day project; providing coaching, direction and expertise to the Project Delivery Manager(s) assigned to their client(s).
- Establishing and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with all clients and stakeholders. Building positive and productive working relationships with customers, instilling confidence of project success by ensuring the alignment and proactive management of project plan.
- Ensuring that corporate requirements, standards and best practices are followed to deliver each project to clients in a timely manner.
- Effectively engage, collaborate, lead, and influence cross-functional teams to deliver the highest level of quality on the projects within committed timeline and scope, and meeting all project requirements and deliverables
- Measuring on end-to-end project efficiency and performance e.g. ensuring project quotation and spending are tracked; driving improvement using new systems, tools, and techniques.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Marketing is an asset.
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in project management managing large-scale complex deployments and have a valid PMP certificate (preferred) with excellent project management skills in identifying/managing risks/issues
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in access network deployment, construction, equipment and / or technology deployment and quality management
- Authentic, professional and confident communicator able to influence internal project teams and customer stakeholders through effective communication and presentation skills
- Be highly self-motivated with proactive & creative approach to problem solving
- Proven excellence in communications and documentation with project management collaterals and meetings including executive project status reports
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects through effective prioritization while meeting timelines
- Strong analytical skills in order to be able to interpret data and generate insights and actions
- Past experience in delivering an Integrated risk management program or solution
- Self-sufficient and strong ability to drive and adapt to changes
- Ability to motivate others and promote team spirit and employee value
- Experience managing budgets and provide guidance to others for cost containment
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
