Summary

Title: Programming Specialist, TSN, Bell Media, Non-mgmt
Location: 9 Channel Nine Court, CTV-Agincourt
Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience 
Work Conditions: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. On call during off hours as required.

Description:

Responsible for assisting Manager Network Presentation with LIVE and simulcast event preparations for TSN programming on linear and digital platforms. Specific duties include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine best transmission sources, acquire production/commercial formats and confirm all communication details needed for On-air Operations and Presentation groups
  • Maintain FEED Resource documentation with up-to-date information and requirements based on program needs
  • Follow program schedules and arrange tools required to aid our On-air Presentation group (scripting bridges, sourcing filler, providing alternate feeds, etc)
  • Work cooperatively with internal departments to ensure effective communication of all content plans
  • Be able to plan and communicate on-air troubleshooting scenarios for live events
  • Support International Clients and Networks requiring TSN productions
  • Other duties as assigned  

Critical Qualifications

  • Strong sports knowledge and a passion for sports is an asset
  • Experience in a Television Production, Broadcast Operations or Transmission environment is strongly preferred
  • Maintain accuracy while handling multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to catch errors and have the analytical ability to seek solutions to correct them
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment, while comfortable managing your own deadlines
  • Strong communicator with a proactive mindset
  • Proficient with Word tables and Excel
  • Previous experience with IBMS is an asset but not required

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
