Position: Scheduler – CEP 79M

Location: Agincourt

Salary: Office Division - Group 5 (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.



  • Schedule and post shifts for TSN, Operations and Engineering staff
  • Calculate overtime and penalties on a weekly basis and submit to Payroll
  • Generate weekly payroll reports
  • Track vacation
  • Co-ordinate the staffing of technical rooms and studios
  • On call capability
  • Invoice preparation and payment
  • Billing and work order building
  • Managing Studio bookings and coordination
  • Deal memo preparation and hiring of freelance backfill



  • 2-5 years minimum experience Scheduling in the union environment
  • Experience using Mediapulse or comparable Scheduling system an asset
  • Works well in a team-centred environment
  • Working knowledge of collective agreements
  • Proven scheduling experience in a multi-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of a studio and post-production environment
  • Strong mathematical ability
  • Good computer skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Knowledge of CEP 79 agreement would be an asset
  • Knowledge of television broadcasting


Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
