Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Consultant-Revenue Forecast Modeling to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the statistical and predictive models that power our revenue forecasting, while also building the automated, scalable operational backbone of our revenue engine. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data science and technology, taking ownership of BI tools and leading automation efforts to establish a "single source of truth" for revenue intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast Model Development & Maintenance: Build, test, and maintain sophisticated forecasting models (e.g., PxQ) to enhance the accuracy of revenue predictions. Continuously measure model performance and accuracy, iteratively working to improve their predictive power.
- Sales Cycle & Predictive Analytics: Analyze historical data to determine the average time deals spend in each sales stage, providing key inputs for predicting when revenue will be recognized. Develop advanced predictive models for deal closure probability and customer churn risk.
- BI & Dashboarding: Take full ownership of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to build, manage, and automate dashboards and reports for the entire GTM organization.
- Automated Alerting: Design and create automated alerts to flag data inconsistencies, pipeline risks, and revenue slippage, routing them to the appropriate teams for intervention.
- Scenario Planning & Simulation: Develop and utilize AI-powered simulation tools to model different business scenarios and assess the potential impact of business decisions on revenue.
- Tech Stack Management: Manage and optimize a sophisticated, integrated tech stack that serves as the central nervous system for the sales and revenue teams. Act as the technical owner for automation and tooling, ensuring a focus on scalable solutions.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create clear and concise reports and dashboards to track forecasting accuracy, identify areas for improvement, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Technology Evaluation & Adoption: Research and evaluate new AI technologies and tools to enhance revenue management forecasting capabilities.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate forecasting insights into actionable strategies. Communicate forecasting results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Critical Qualifications
- Strong background in data analysis, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, BI Analyst, or Salesforce Administrator, preferably within a RevOps or SalesOps context.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining statistical and predictive models.
- Hands-on expertise with BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and building automated dashboards.
- Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce, including process automation (Flows, etc.) and data architecture.
- Proficiency with data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Ability to translate complex data analysis into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- A strategic mindset focused on building scalable, long-term solutions to operational challenges.
- Experience in a B2B environment, particularly with sales or financial data, is preferred.
