The Human Resources (HR) team plays a key role in helping Bell achieve its business objectives by enhancing organizational efficiency through delivering competitive employee programs, policies and processes, building and attracting top talent, driving employee effectiveness and providing creative solutions that enable business success.

 

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented individual to provide HR consulting for the IT team. Collaborating with business leaders, you will help to find, grow and keep the talent who plan, design, build and operate Bell’s multi-billion dollar networks. 

 

You will be a champion of culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make people decisions confidently and strategically.  Whether coaching your clients on how to lead their teams, navigating and resolving employee and labour relation issues or managing programs that help build engagement, you are a strategic and strong change agent.

 

Responsibilities

  • Human Capital Champion – As a business partner to the leaders in IT, develop integrated HR solutions to build engagement and develop talent that foster a culture of innovation and drive performance.
  • Critical Influencer - Identify ways to improve operational efficiencies/effectiveness through people and influence the organization to make the right decisions.
  • Analytical Thinker – Ask the right questions, get the right data, interpret and apply it in order to generate options and recommendations. Confidently challenge the status quo and generate buy-in for human resources solutions.
  • Business Acumen - Understand and apply HR & business knowledge to contribute to Bell’s goal and strategies. Stay current on evolving practices and market trends, share insights to contribute to business results.
  • Change Leader - Collaborate with leaders to understand the people implications of change. Develop the case for change, including the vision and key milestones.
  • Strategic HR Partner – Engage as a strategic advisor in all aspects of HR planning, organization design, performance management, employee relations and leadership development.

 

 

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Minimum 7 years experience in an HR Consulting, Generalist or HR Business Partner role, advising business leaders with teams of over 800 employees. 
  • Skilled coach who is comfortable providing feedback to senior leaders
  • Experience with, organization design, performance management, talent, employee development, recognition and engagement surveys.
  • Experience in business transformation and related HR transition planning
  • Experience building diversity and inclusion strategies
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills with ability to organize and analyze data. Demonstrated experience integrating HR metrics into decision-making.
  • Proven project management capabilities
  • Ability to listen and convey opinions and recommendations both in writing and orally.
  • Effective interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy.

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
