Summary

The Artificial Intelligence team is seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to lead a team of professionals working on various AI initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in team and project management, as well as a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and ensure the successful delivery of deliverables, while driving innovation and solving complex problems. 
Reporting directly to the Director, you will provide strategic leadership in shaping the organization’s AI and GenAI platform evolution and standards. You will champion the development and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, foster collaboration across executive and cross-functional teams, and AI Standards for products and solutions. This role is responsible for driving organizational alignment, delivering executive-level insights on AI progress and risks, and establishing best practices for the selection and use of AI tools, all while promoting a culture of innovation and accountability. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development of AI & GenAI platforms and capabilities through design, implementation, and continuously improve, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, ethical standards, and evolving regulatory requirements. 

  • Set standards for use of AI solutions and tools, from SaaS solutions to foundational models
  • Collaborate with executive committees and cross-functional PMO teams to establish and maintain governance policies, processes, and compliance mechanisms. 
  • Direct and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring governance objectives are met across all AI initiatives. 
  • Develop and deliver executive dashboards and reports that provide visibility into AI progress, compliance, risks, and business impact.  
  • Establish regular communication cadences and feedback loops to ensure governance frameworks are understood and applied across the organization 
  • Build a playbook that guides teams on the selection and use of AI tools, ensuring alignment with governance standards and business needs. 

  • Implement MCP governance frameworks and solutions



 

Critical Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading governance teams or project management teams, with a track record of establishing and maintaining governance frameworks for AI and GenAI initiatives. 
  • Direct experience implementing, managing, or overseeing GenAI (Generative AI) projects, including familiarity with the latest tools, platforms, and ethical considerations. 
  • Strong leadership in technical environments, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and align technical solutions with business objectives. 
  • Experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving platform governance policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from conception to delivery, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent communication, change management, and complex problem-solving skills 
  • Knowledge of the MS Suite, Jira, and Agile methodology. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field with a focus on AI/machine learning. 

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
