Summary

We are actively seeking to recruit an exceptionally accomplished and results-driven Senior Manager for our high-performing Inside Sales division, tasked with providing strategic leadership and operational oversight. This pivotal role involves guiding a substantial team of thirty to forty dedicated sales professionals operating within a dynamic outsourced sales ecosystem, driving significant revenue growth and cultivating robust client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of modern sales methodologies, advanced analytical capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and sales excellence across the entire team. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive strategic direction and granular tactical execution plans designed to optimize the performance and productivity of an inside sales force numbering between thirty and forty individuals. 
  • Diligent oversight and rigorous management of the outsourced sales vendor relationship, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, service level agreements, and key performance indicators through proactive communication and performance reviews.
  • Spearheading the development and implementation of sophisticated sales training programs, ongoing coaching initiatives, and performance improvement strategies tailored to enhance the skill sets and effectiveness of individual sales representatives.
  • Meticulous forecasting of sales revenue, pipeline management, and territory performance, utilizing advanced statistical modeling techniques and data-driven insights to predict outcomes and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Cultivating and nurturing enduring, mutually beneficial relationships with key clients and strategic partners, acting as a primary escalation point for complex issues and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.
  • Championing the adoption and proficient utilization of sophisticated sales technologies and CRM platforms, ensuring seamless integration into daily workflows and maximizing data integrity for actionable intelligence.
  • Conducting in-depth performance analysis of the sales team, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and areas for enhancement, subsequently devising and executing targeted interventions to address identified challenges.
  • Collaborating extensively with cross-functional departments, including Marketing, Operations, and Product Development, to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and seamless customer journey experiences.
  • Establishing and meticulously monitoring key performance metrics (KPIs) and operational dashboards, providing regular, transparent, and insightful reports to senior leadership regarding team performance, market dynamics, and strategic progress.
  • Driving continuous process improvement initiatives across the sales organization, leveraging methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Agile principles to refine operational efficiencies and enhance overall sales velocity. 

Critical Qualifications

  • Demonstrated extensive experience, typically exceeding seven to ten years, specifically within progressive business-to-business (B2B) sales management roles, with a significant portion focused on leading inside sales operations. 
  • A foundational academic background, holding at least a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling inside sales teams comprising a minimum of thirty individuals, consistently achieving or surpassing ambitious revenue targets and strategic objectives.
  • Substantial hands-on experience utilizing and administering robust Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with a deep understanding of data management, reporting functionalities, and workflow automation.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, enabling the interpretation of complex sales data, the identification of performance trends, and the formulation of data-driven strategic recommendations.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, coach, and develop sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced academic credentials, such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's degree in a relevant business discipline, demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of strategic management principles.
  • Prior experience specifically within a managed services or outsourced sales provider organization, offering unique insights into the operational dynamics and client management aspects of such environments.
  • Familiarity with advanced sales forecasting algorithms and predictive analytics techniques, enabling more precise revenue projections and proactive risk mitigation strategies. 

Additional Requirements

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
