On the Bell Business Markets team, you’ll be a vital part of making innovation happen for enterprise-scale customers. You’ll deliver advanced solutions in areas such as IoT, Mobility/5G, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice, Collaboration & Contact Centre and Internet & Private Networks.

Summary

The Take to Market team at Bell Business Markets drives demand for Bell products and services through channel development, programs, campaigns, promotions, offers, proposals, communications, sponsorships and customer analytics for all business market segments.

The Senior Manager of Take to Market ( leads strategy, planning and execution of external and internal events and sponsorships, as well as oversees our Solution Centres. The successful candidate will have great leadership and communications skills, a deep understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, an ability to execute on multiple initiatives and deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. The candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and empowering corporate environment that supports leadership, initiative, individual and team contributions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning of events and sponsorships that supports business goals, in collaboration with Sales and Marketing leadership
  • Plan and deliver virtual, hybrid and in person events and experiences from concept to execution, including identifying the right format / platform for the event, engaging and managing internal and external providers, and developing event marketing strategies to drive attendance and ensure lead execution
  • Manage budget, with focus on delivering high quality leads and generating pipeline; evaluate, measure and report on event effectiveness and ROI 
  • Manage agency relationships, including contract and budget negotiations
  • Work with cross-functional marketing teams to build event communications; collaborate on pre and post event nurture and engagement strategies
  • Manage the overall events and sponsorship calendar; ensure proper resourcing across all initiatives and source all event requirements as necessary
  • Manage the event marketing and sponsorship team; support the team's professional growth through effective leadership and mentorship

Critical Qualifications

  • 7+ years of previous of proven marketing event planning and execution experience, ideally within telecom or technology sector and B2B
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing and developing team members
  • Experience using the latest event technologies, including streaming platforms, registration and participant management platforms, agenda management tools, recording and editing tools, event promotion tools, project and resource management tools, and tools for live event engagement (polls, Q&As, etc.)
  • Exceptional ability in program / project management
  • Strong executive presence; ability to work directly with C-level executives and VPs to manage expectations and requests
  • A proven leader who is committed to motivate, grow and develop high performing teams
  • Ability to work smart under pressure and efficiently on multiple project requests simultaneously, and to deal with potential for tight deadlines and unexpected complexities
  • Team player. Skilled at working across functional teams and with multiple stakeholders. Enjoys being part of a broader team of collaborative marketers
  • Strategic, innovative and creative with a strong business acumen
  • Results oriented with experience establishing metrics, KPIs and accountability to ensure successful outcomes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
