Summary
The Systems Training Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high‑impact training that supports Bell’s sales and operational excellence across multiple channels. This position is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that enhance system adoption, elevate employee capability, and strengthen overall team performance.
This role requires a strong instructional designer and facilitator who can adapt existing programs, build new learning experiences, and ensure all content is instructionally sound, engaging, and aligned to business needs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills across a variety of delivery formats including classroom, vILT, e‑learning, and train‑the‑trainer.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate training for small and large groups across multiple formats, including face‑to‑face and virtual instructor‑led (vILT)
- Lead training for key business systems—including CRM platforms and Multi‑Platform Order Entry Systems—ensuring users build strong proficiency, adopt best practices, and apply system workflows accurately and efficiently
- Develop engaging learning activities, course content, and supporting materials
- Create multimedia assets such as audio, video, simulations, and demonstrations
- Measure and evaluate training effectiveness, providing follow‑up and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Conduct needs analyses to identify system‑related knowledge gaps and propose proactive training solutions
- Apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to enhance training programs
- Provide regular project updates and manage deliverables to ensure on‑time, high‑quality completion
Critical Qualifications
- Proven portfolio of training delivery and facilitation experience
- Hands‑on instructional design experience, including curriculum and Lesson planning
- Strong written communication skills, including copywriting and scriptwriting for training assets
- Experience in IBMS, PIO, Wide Orbit
- Knowledge of Media Sales industry terminology, standards, and performance metrics
- Ability to design and deliver facilitated learning experiences that support system adoption
- Data‑driven approach to measuring and evaluating training outcomes
- Strong ability to collaborate with sales teams, support functions, and cross‑functional partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Post‑secondary education in a related field (Instructional Design, Education, Communications, etc.) is an asset
- Experience in Media Sales platforms is an asset
- Experience managing projects within defined timelines, and shifting priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn internal systems quickly
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively under deadline pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing strong judgment, initiative, and adaptability
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
